Annual Neighborhood Halloween Parade


Line up will happen on Cabrini Blvd at 5:45PM, parade starts at 6:15PM. The route goes up Cabrini towards Margaret Corbin Circle and into the park. DIFFERENT this year is that instead of going up to the Linden Terrace, we will loop to the right and walk past New Leaf Cafe lawn. Also, DIFFERENT is that this year the costume contest will take place ONLINE at the following Face Book page:

As usual, we could use volunteers (more than usual because many of our long-time volunteers are busy this year because it falls on a weekend!). We could always use DRUMMERS. Please reply to me if you're interested in volunteering the night of. This is a great job for a couple of families with babies, as it requires some standing around.

For those of you new to the neighborhood, trick or treating happens on 181st Street (and probably Broadway and on 187th as well) in the afternoon and evening and in particular buildings.

Security Officer Vacation
Please be advised that security officer Shyra Concepcion, who works Mon, Tues, Weds (4pm - 12pm) & Sat/Sun (8am - 4pm) will be going on vacation from 8/5/14 - 8/10/14. Covering will be an officer by the name of Mussah Hassan, who will come in on Monday, August 4th to train with Shyra so that he can cover while she is away. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Security Officer Change

Please be advised that effective Tuesday, September 23, 2014, Security Officer Shyra Concepcion will no longer be working security at 100 Overlook Terrace. Shyra's last day will be Monday, September 22, 2014. Replacing Shyra will be Officer Mussah Hassan. Officer Hassan will be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (4pm - 12pm) and Saturday/Sunday (8am - 4pm). We would like to thank Shyra for her services at the building and wish her good luck in her future endeavors. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

2014 Annual Meeting Election Results

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) would like to thank all of the shareholders that attended and participated in the Annual Shareholder’s Meeting that took place on May 13, 2014.  We had a good turnout and a very productive meeting.  At this meeting, the shareholders voted and elected four (4) Board Members to serve on the Board for the next two (2) years.  We would like to thank all of the shareholders who ran for the Board as this was the most competitive election we have had in several years.  As a result of the election, the following shareholders were elected/re-elected to the Board:

Marc Bastuscheck (re-elected)

Evelyn Friedman (newly elected)

Eric Schaer (re-elected)

Mark Yim (re-elected)

These Board Members will work with the remaining Board Members--David Crowder-Sklar, Russell McBride and Campbell Pryde--to elect officers at the next Board meeting.  The Board and Management would also like to welcome Ms. Evelyn Friedman as the newest member of the Board and look forward to working with her as we move forward and work together to improve our building.  Additionally, the Board would like to thank Mr. Matthew Aubry for his years of service on the Board and his tireless efforts in working to improve the quality of life for all shareholders.  Many thanks to Mr. Rudolph Scala and Mr. William Ferns, who served as Inspectors of Election, and helped tally the ballots. As a reminder, the next informational meeting will be held on July 23, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the second floor lobby. Hope to see you all there!

Deliveries & Insurance Certificates

Please be reminded that deliveries, i.e., furniture, mattresses, etc. must be reported to management at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled delivery. These deliveries require a certificate of insurance from the delivery company to be sent to management. FedEx and UPS deliveries are NOT included.    

Delivery times are between 9AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays.  

Deliveries that are not properly informed to management will be turned away by building staff until they are properly scheduled. Please call or email Kara Moss at 212-896-8690 or KaraM@argo.com in anticipation of any deliveries.
